Sales and Marketing Coordinator Full Time Cincinnati, OH, US 15 days ago Requisition ID: 1420 Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Annually Position Overview: The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing genuine and authentic guest service according to the Jeff Ruby Standards.This role provides administrative, clerical, reception, sales, and marketing support for the Sales & Relationship Manager (SRM) and Management staff of the restaurant. Responsibilities include answering telephones, taking reservations, creating High Touches for Guests, assisting the SRM with daily tasks, greeting clients and visitors, scheduling appointments and referrals, selling gift cards, typing, filing and supporting guest-facing sales initiatives. In collaboration with the Marketing team, this role supports on-site social media content capture by identifying brand-appropriate moments, documenting restaurant ambiance, food, beverage, service, and guest experience details, and serving as a social media ambassador while maintaining guest privacy and Jeff Ruby hospitality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Sales & Administrative Work Performed (60%) Greets and assists guests, vendors and visitors. Answers e-mails and main telephone system, makes reservations, takes messages, and directs incoming calls appropriately. Identifies and acts upon opportunities for creating High Touches for Guests. Assists SRM with Banquet duties as needed: Enter Leads into Sales System Print Banquet Event Orders and Reports Print and Organize Menus Conduct tours Reply to event inquiries and detailing questions As needed, set décor and items in Private Rooms, such as framed photos, name cards, etc Types, prints and/or reproduces reports, forms, correspondence, menus, and other materials. Proofreads all work for accuracy and neatness. Processes gift card orders through the Point of Sale system. Assists other departments as requested or assigned Serve as the on-location liaison between the restaurant and marketing team. Support current campaigns, promotions, events, and broader brand initiatives through timely content capture. Identify events, newsworthy moments, culinary highlights, service details, and brand-relevant stories. Help tell compelling, authentic stories that highlight the restaurant’s people, culinary expertise, service, atmosphere, and guest experience. Collaborate with restaurant management, staff, the Sales & Marketing team, and approved guests to create engaging and authentic content. Capture high-quality photos and/or videos of restaurant operations, special events, food and beverage, service moments, and behind-the-scenes activity. Maintain a strong eye for design, visual aesthetic, detail, and brand alignment when capturing and sharing content opportunities. Required Experience & Qualifications Ability to accurately type a minimum of 50 wpm. Working knowledge in the MS Suite of products Experience supporting social media, marketing, events, hospitality, or other guest-facing brand initiatives. Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn Basic photography and smartphone photo and video skills with experience in app editing tools like Edits Ability to identify and capture quality content that reflects the restaurant’s atmosphere, service, food and beverage, and overall guest experience with compelling storytelling that is brand appropriate. Strong eye for storytelling, design, visual aesthetic, detail, and brand presentation. Keeps up with social media trends and updates Familiarity with local market and demand drivers Proficient in the English language, grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, etc. Knowledge of efficient office procedures. Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner. Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly. Multitasking when necessary One year of clerical work experience plus knowledge of standard office machines, ability to work with detail, and good organizational skills. Willingness to follow recommended procedures, honesty, patience, good people skills, team player. Education : High School Diploma Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 40 pounds.
