Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Specialty: Observation and Med Surg Schedule: PRN | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Clinical Execution: Delivers direct patient care and performs medical procedures under the supervision of an RN or physician. Assessment & Monitoring: Contributes to patient evaluations and maintains a constant watch for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Technical Services: Conducts necessary laboratory tests and administers therapeutic interventions within the professional scope of practice. Medication Management: Safely handles and administers medications while ensuring patient safety through vigilant observation. Patient Education: Empowers patients and families by teaching self-care, explaining treatment plans, and identifying resources for holistic health after discharge. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
