Description
  • Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery
  • Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise plans
  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress following facility protocols and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to maintain coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized program
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialized training (e.g., neurological, geriatric) is advantageous but not mandatory
