Juniper Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and passionate Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our Dietary Services team in Greensboro, NC .

As a Dietary Cook, you will:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals in accordance with physician-ordered diets, therapeutic menus, and standardized recipes

• Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

• Properly store, label, and rotate food items to maintain freshness and compliance

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, food preparation areas, and equipment

• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and team members to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents

• Assist with inventory management and notify leadership when supplies need replenishing

• Comply with all federal, state, local, and facility dietary regulations

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Current ServSafe Food Handler or Food Protection certification (or ability to obtain as required)

• Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or commercial kitchen preferred

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service to residents
