Sales Coordinator

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity to grow with a successful company? Our client is a dynamic, privately held sales and distribution company seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their Greensboro, NC team onsite.

This is a key role supporting customers, suppliers, and outside sales representatives. Reporting to the VP, Sales and Operations, you'll help keep orders, inventory, freight, and customer needs moving efficiently.

This is an inside sales role. The Sales Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and outside sales. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, quick learner, problem solver, and highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Honest, dependable, and quick to learn
• Import/export experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between customers, suppliers, and outside sales representatives
• Manage orders from quote through invoice
• Monitor open orders and provide customer updates
• Manage assigned inventory and reconcile inventory locations monthly
• Process daily invoices and enter orders accurately
• Coordinate order specifications and ship dates with customers and suppliers
• Negotiate third-party freight pricing and approve freight bills
• Review purchase orders and order acknowledgments for accuracy
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and assist with customer claims
• Maintain accurate order and customer files
• Support sales representatives with customer information and sales preparation
• Provide backup support to other Sales Coordinators as needed
• Periodic travel to customer or supplier locations may be required
