Experienced Server for a Wine Bar

Vintage Vine 100 Restaurant Server

Vintage Vine 100 is looking for a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating and providing best customer experience and satisfaction. We are a small and sophisticated wine bar that offers fine wine, craft beer, bourbon and small plates in a newly built stand-alone building within the beautiful McEwen Northside community, located in the heart of Cool Springs. Our concept is focused on providing guests an experience that is exceptional in every way. Vintage Vine 100 is a local family-owned and operated business.

Duties include: verifying the identification and age of customers when serving alcoholic beverages that consist mainly of wine flights or glasses of wine, greet customers and present menus, make suggestions based on their preferences recommending wine, beer, bourbon and food to guests, build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere, take and serve food/drinks orders, Up-sell when appropriate, keep tables clean and tidy at all times, accepting payment from customers, open and maintain tabs throughout their shift, helping rack glasses, complete opening and closing tasks, cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff, adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with both staff and customers

• Ability to take direction and execute team objectives
• Must be reliable and dependable, follow the schedule provided

Job Type: Full or Part Time

Pay: Competitive wages plus tips

Requirements

• Server experience. Winery or wine bar experience preferred but not required.
• Complete in-house training and wine education videos from Vintage Vine
• Current ABC License and the ability to follow all TABC laws and regulations
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and climb stairs
• Ability to work in a small team environment with General Manager and multiple servers

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
