Position Overview

Fredericksburg Christian Health Center is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This role is essential in supporting both clinical operations and direct patient care. We need someone committed to the mission and ready to work . The ideal candidate is skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

What You'll Do

Clinical Responsibilities

Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs and medical histories
Assist providers during exams and procedures
Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic

Administrative Responsibilities

Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
Schedule appointments and assist with care coordination
Respond to patient calls and inquiries professionally
Maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

Patient Care

Deliver compassionate, respectful, and culturally competent care
Support patient education and follow-up instructions
Assist in resolving patient concerns with professionalism and empathy

What We're Looking For

Certified Medical Assistant (required)
Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Skills in conflict resolution and teamwork
Passion for serving others and alignment with FCHC's mission
