American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a skilled nursing facility, requiring TX licensure.

- No weekend requirements

- Compact license accepted
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Valid Texas SLP license required if applicable
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
- Implement communication strategies to help residents be better understood and understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Collaborate with facility leadership to manage caseload and communicate any barriers to treatment completion
- Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be subject to review before consideration
