PRINTER 3rd Shift 11pm - 7am Position Summary Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Printer Operator operates off-set printing machines to produce work-in-progress goods or finished goods according to customer/stock specifications. Performs quality checks and packages finished goods according to the production order/customer specification. Key Responsibilities Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure. Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified quality checks/inspections per customer specification. Packages and labels work-in-progress products according to the Control Plan. When an order ends, performs a line clearance. Complete cleaning/color changes. Set up new job orders in accordance with specifications given (on equipment) Actively communicates with coworkers – key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance, production and continuous improvement. Follows work instructions as needed and may be asked to write, revise and train others to those instructions. Performs root cause analysis when problems arise to determine if actions can be taken immediately or appropriate personnel need to be called. #J-18808-Ljbffr
