Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week (traveler's choice). Weekend coverage required based on staffing needs. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period. Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks available.

• 34-bed medical-surgical unit caring for diverse patient populations including post-surgical and complex medical diagnoses
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and lift teams
• Free parking and scrubs provided; 12-hour orientation included
• May float to similar units within scope of practice as needed

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license or ability to obtain (pending licenses accepted for submission; must have license in hand for final offer)
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted at standard rate)
• First-time travelers welcomed
