Position Summary The Product Pooling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily Pooling Department operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of pooled final product within a regulated laboratory environment. Essential Responsibilities Supervise daily pooling operations and ensure compliance with SOPs and Quality System requirements. Perform and demonstrate technical competency in all dilution and laboratory processes. Ensure accurate and timely completion of batch records and production documentation. Maintain aseptic technique and sterility standards. Manage inventory and request chemicals, materials, lab supplies, and equipment as needed. Communicate operational issues and production updates to the Production Manager. Identify and recommend process improvements for cost, efficiency, and labor optimization. Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate departmental staff in partnership with HR. Plan staffing schedules, overtime, vacations, and production workflows.Maintain and update SOPs, training records, and safety documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline or Associate degree with relevant experience. Ability to perform algebraic calculations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in ISO and/or FDA regulated environments preferred. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a climate-controlled biological/chemical laboratory environment. The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, wearing PPE, and occasional exposure to cold storage environments. Travel Up to 5% domestic and occasional international travel.
