We believe patients deserve immediate access to experienced providers, shorter wait times, exceptional customer service, and clinical excellence from the moment they walk through our doors.As we prepare to open our newest location in Rapid City, we're looking for Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)) who are passionate about practicing high-quality emergency medicine while helping build a culture centered around compassion, teamwork, accountability, and excellence.Minimum Requirements:Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications before being considered for an interview:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programEligible for unrestricted South Dakota licensureEligible for DEA registration and South Dakota controlled substance authorityCurrent BLS and ACLS certification2 Years emergency Department, or comparable emergency medicine experienceComfortable evaluating, stabilizing, and treating emergency patients within approved clinical privilegesAbility to successfully meet all Exceptional Community Hospital credentialing, privileging, payer enrollment, background screening, and compliance requirementsPreferred QualificationsEmergency Medicine experiencePALS and ATLS certificationExperience performing emergency procedures consistent with granted privilegesStrong independent clinical judgmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to concierge-level patient care and exceptional customer servicePosition ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, assess, diagnose, and treat emergency department patients within approved clinical privilegesOrder and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testingPerform approved procedures consistent with granted privilegesCollaborate closely with Emergency Medicine Physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departmentsMaintain complete, timely, and accurate medical documentationDeliver compassionate, efficient, patient-centered care that reflects Exceptional Community Hospital's commitment to concierge-level serviceIf you're looking for the opportunity to help shape a new emergency department while providing exceptional care to the Rapid City community, we'd love to hear from you.Why Choose Us?
