About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leadership, providing essential support in a variety of legal areas, including corporate transactions, governance, compliance, and commercial contracting. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is adept at working across multiple legal disciplines. Key responsibilities for the Senior Legal Counsel include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, supporting strategic corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, and managing legal due diligence processes. The role also involves advising on legal risk, dispute prevention, and litigation matters, as well as enhancing policies and procedures related to legal and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and significant experience in the required legal areas. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage matters with minimal supervision. Experience in the energy, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, or investment sectors, as well as a background in international operations or cross-border transactions, is highly valued.
