Full-time | Clinic + Hospital | Competitive salary + full benefits Bay Area Cardiology Associates is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the Tampa Bay area. You'll work across outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings, gaining exposure to the full breadth of cardiovascular medicine — from general cardiology to subspecialty care — alongside an established team of cardiologists and experienced APPs. This is a Monday–Friday position with a shared weekend rotation approximately once per month. CVAUSA partner practice. What makes this role different Exposure to the full spectrum of cardiovascular medicine — general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, vascular — across multiple care settings and locations A real team: you'll work alongside cardiologists and APPs who know your name and are invested in your development, not a rotating cast of hospitalists Private practice culture — decisions get made quickly, patient relationships are long-term, and you have a voice in how care is delivered Structured onboarding and mentorship from day one, not a sink-or-swim orientation Career growth within CVAUSA's national cardiovascular network — this is a long-term opportunity, not a stepping stone What you will do Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions across clinic and inpatient settings Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and consults Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising cardiologists Manage medications, specialty referrals, and patient education Participate in cardiovascular care across subspecialties as the practice grows Qualifications Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care NP or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP) or Physician Assistant Active Florida license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in any specialty Cardiology or acute care experience preferred — strong interest in cardiovascular medicine considered Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations within the Tampa Bay area Schedule & compensation Monday–Friday primary schedule Shared weekend rotation approximately once per month (not every weekend) Competitive base salary with incentive opportunity Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO, CME allowance, 401(k) Mentorship and long-term career development within a growing national cardiovascular organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
