This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied shifts with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekend hours are required every other week or as needed, with call requirements of one or two times per week in 8-hour increments.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will work closely with surgical teams and provide exceptional patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and implement physician orders as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting.
• Experience in orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, plastics, general surgery, cardiovascular, neuro, urology, or breast surgery is preferred.
