Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Manage assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and invoicing. Develop and implement project budgets, including labor hours and expected expenses. Supervise and mentor project personnel, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings. Oversee all phases of the project, ensuring health and safety standards are met. Prepare bids, proposals, work plans, and statements of work, seeking approvals as required. Ensure all necessary contract documents are in place before work begins. Identify and communicate resource requirements for project completion. Perform field work as required, including travel and overnight stays to project sites. Compile and process project data, including daily logs, mileage logs, and field data sheets. Prepare reports and documentation to meet client, contract, and regulatory requirements. Create and follow up on invoices to ensure prompt payment. Stay informed on relevant regulatory issues and maintain compliance with applicable guidelines. Adhere to quality assurance and quality control procedures. Assist in the hiring, training, and development of project staff. Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members, including after hours when necessary. Travel to remote job sites as needed and work extended hours to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a related field. Minimum of three years’ experience in project management, preferably 3-5 years. Experience in environmental consulting services required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, employees, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Ability to mentor and train staff, and exercise independent judgment. Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions and travel to remote job sites.
