Responsibilities
- Explain procedures to patients, position patients for exams, and ensure comfort throughout ultrasound procedures.
- Use transducers to scan and capture images of the abdomen, heart, blood vessels, or fetus; optimize image quality.
- Review images for quality, identify normal or pathological findings, and summarize results for physician review.
- Prepare, clean, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; adhere to infection control and equipment maintenance protocols.
- Document findings and assist with appropriate patient communication and safety throughout the imaging process.

Requirements
- Active ultrasound license valid for the state of Georgia or ability to obtain licensure/credentialing for the assignment.
- Certification in diagnostic medical sonography (e.g., ARDMS/ARRT) or equivalent as applicable; verification will be completed during the hiring process.
- Relevant ultrasound imaging experience; prior travel or hospital-based experience preferred.
- Education: degree or formal training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and perform 12-hour shifts on-site in Brunswick, GA.
