Physical Therapist

Provides comprehensive therapeutic services to patients with physical functioning disorders, wound care, and rehabilitation needs. Develops individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and promote functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical capabilities and formulate effective plans of care based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Administer therapeutic interventions including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, wound care, and use of supportive devices.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatments to ensure optimal recovery and documenting outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members to facilitate coordinated care and provide counseling.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, treatment minutes, and patient progress in electronic health records, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to uphold best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma State License as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient or rehabilitation experience; new graduates with Level II experience are welcome.
• Proven proficiency in assessing and treating patients with physical or wound care needs.
• Ability to supervise and support physical therapist assistants, aides, and students.
• Adherence to APTA standards, ethical conduct, and state practice acts.
