Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the occupational therapist.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve personal effectiveness.

• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and activities.

• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.

• Engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance personal and team performance.

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of therapy equipment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience in assisting occupational therapists with treatment plans.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Ability to monitor and report patient progress effectively.

• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Strong skills in educating patients and families on therapy exercises.

• Proficient in maintaining accurate records of treatments.

• Willingness to engage in feedback sessions for improvement.

• Ability to create a safe and supportive therapy environment.

• Experience with therapy equipment maintenance and preparation.
