We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Assistant Shift Associates. As an Assistant Shift Member, you will play an essential role in supporting daily operations and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with management and team members to maintain service standards, food quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers warmly and assist with orders. Provide menu recommendations and answer questions accurately. Ensure each guest leaves satisfied with their experience. Handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully. Order Taking and Processing Accurately take and input customer orders at the counter. Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly. Ensure accurate billing and efficient order flow. Food Preparation and Safety Assist with food preparation and order assembly. Maintain proper portion control and presentation standards. Label food items accurately and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines. Follow all sanitation and ServSafe standards at all times. Cleanliness and Maintenance Keep the front counter, dining area, and kitchen clean and organized. Mop floors, clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a sanitary workspace. Assist with stocking supplies and organizing inventory. Support receiving and properly storing deliveries. Operational Support Assist with opening and closing duties as directed. Follow management instructions and maintain efficiency during busy periods. Help ensure smooth and organized shift operations. Qualifications Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic. Must be punctual and dependable. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds. Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat and equipment. Must pass the background check required for military base access. Must have reliable transportation.
