About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS TNCC (must be from AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience with Trauma Stroke STEMI Sepsis Moderate Sedation Description: This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy emergency department. The facility functions as a level III trauma center, servicing a diverse patient population. Healthcare provided includes medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. The department includes a team nursing model and a Pod System. A social worker is assigned to the department, and there is a unit educator available. Patient care ratios are 4:1 in the main department and 6:1 in the fast track area. Common presentations include Emergency Situations, Substance Abuse Disorders, and Psychological Disorders. Candidates with strong skills in emergency medicine and critical thinking will thrive in this environment. The role involves direct patient care, including assessment and treatment of a variety of diagnoses. Experience in trauma and critical care scenarios is highly desirable.
