General electrical design engineering activities for the DC and AC installation of energy storage projects.

Produce layouts, SLD preparation, wiring schematics, cable sizing calculations, earthing layouts, protection scheme development, cable containment solutions, etc.

Ensure engineering designs are completed to planned timescales.

Reading design specifications and technical drawings to inform design.

Evaluating technical specifications in the tender documentation packages and reviewing risks and implications of the requirements.

Negotiating with BESS OEMs on technical specifications and supply agreements.

Providing engineering and technical expertise and guidance in identifying, analysing and resolving project challenges.

Manage relationships and work with Technical Advisor on development sites but also ad hoc requirements.

Support of sales and procurement with technical descriptions and datasheet validation, generation of Bill of Quantities.

Support of the construction department in the implementation, in the project realization phase.

Close exchange with colleagues in layout design, purchasing, project development, project management and the subsidiaries.

Preparation of as-built calculations and drawings package

Technical documentation after completion of a project

Experience within energy storage either in EPC, consultancy, DNO, ICP, renewable energy developer, or alternatively another engineering environment

Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree as a minimum

Knowledge and understanding of international and UK electrical standards

Good knowledge of electrical design software (eplan or similar)

Good knowledge of AutoCAD

Familiarity with the interactions between developer, EPC and TA in utility-scale PV project development

Ground-mounted solar farms We are specialised in the design, construction and operation of large-scale solar farms. After seven years of mainly focusing on O&M activities in the United Kingdom, BELECTRIC UK returned to the market as an EPC service provider with full force in 2022.

Operations & Maintenance Our O&M service offers solar and battery storage system operators an all-in-one solution to secure and improve their systems. The BELECTRIC UK team provides O&M services for more than 25 PV power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 300 MWp throughout the country.

Battery Storage Systems We do not only support our customers in the field of photovoltaics, but also as a general contractor in the engineering and purchasing of battery storage solutions. On the UK market, hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important.
