Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care in a teaching hospital environment, specifically within MedSurg/Tele units. The facility offers a dynamic and challenging environment with complex medical procedures and diverse patient needs.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care for patients undergoing complex GI surgeries, trauma overflow, and other medical conditions
• Manage a caseload of patients with ratios from 1:4-6, adjusting as needed during surge staffing
• Utilize skills in basic cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, chest tube management, and more
• Administer medication drips, including heparin, blood products, and cardiac drips
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, phlebotomy, and intensivists

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
• Experience with Alaris IV Pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
