About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro MS/T required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required - AHA only Must-Have: Epic experience required Telemetry test required prior to start Description: Join a fast-paced neuro specialty inpatient unit. Advance your nursing skills utilizing evidence-based practice. Become part of a collaborative team that encourages and supports one another. Care for a variety of medical and surgical neuro patients. The unit consists of 25 beds. Post-surgical cases may include spine surgeries, brain tumors, and craniotomy. Work with patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, ALS, and Guillain-Barre syndrome. Provide patient and family-centered care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Ensure the highest level of diagnosis and treatment options for patients. Help provide care for individuals experiencing complex neurological conditions. All travelers are required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. The patient ratio is 4:1 during both day and night shifts. Floating may be required as needed. Join us in offering high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
