Overview
Health Room Assistant (LPN credentials) – Lacey, Washington. Travel assignment for Licensed Practical Nurse in a school health room, starting 09/03/2026 through 06/17/2027 (approximately 41 weeks). Weekly pay: $1,448 – $1,508. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:50 AM–4:20 PM (7.5-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; 35 billable hours per week). Setting: School health room serving a K–12 environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site basic health care, triage minor injuries, and respond to student health concerns within a school health room protocol
- Administer medications and treatments per school/district policies and maintain accurate health records
- Communicate with school staff and families as appropriate, while protecting student privacy and confidentiality
- Monitor student health trends, support chronic condition management as directed, and coordinate with healthcare providers when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized health office and ensure proper infection control and safety practices

Requirements
- Active LPN license in Washington State
- LPN credentials as listed in the job title
- Ability to work in a school health room environment; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fixed schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:50 AM–4:20 PM
- Prior experience in pediatric, school health, or related settings is beneficial but not required by the posting
