Epic Systems Analyst- Resolute Hospital Billing & Claims

Job Summary This position is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Claims application. Responsibilities include business/systems analysis, requirements definition, system design, and problem resolution. The analyst communicates with end users to understand issues and implement solutions. Responsibilities Plan, design, build, test, implement and support the needs of Epic software. Analyze and determine system requirements and specifications. Perform and document workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Support and maintain environments or applications using domain knowledge. Create and maintain documentation and training materials regarding the implementation of applications. Use knowledge of Epic to configure changes within Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Correct issues, conduct routine maintenance, update systems with new functionality, and implement new technologies. Provide guidance and support to end‑users to enhance the use of Epic and offer solutions to resolve end‑user system issues. Contribute to and manage small to medium projects independently. Update stakeholders as appropriate regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues. Conduct problem‑solving and root cause analysis to resolve routine to moderately complex problems. Identify solutions and complete documentation. Experience (Required) 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules. Experience (Preferred) 3+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience (Claims, Patient Access, Billing). 3+ years of experience with Epic EMR or other EMR applications. Skills Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity. Excellent customer service skills. Use critical thinking skills for assigned tasks. Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal teamwork. Strong organizational skills in managing priorities. Demonstrate knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks. Education (Required) Associate’s degree. Education (Substitutions) 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate’s degree. Education (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience. Certifications (Required) Epic Application Certification within 180 days of hire. Certifications (Preferred) Epic Certification in Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Hospital Claims. Travel Requirement 0% – 25% travel. Physical Demands Remote‑based position with occasional travel to work sites. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay Range Minimum: $68,400.00 – Maximum: $105,900.00.
