Specialty Account Manager, Long Term Care (Kansas City, MO)

Axsome Therapeutics seeks a field-based Specialty Account Manager for long-term care in Kansas City, Missouri. The role focuses on driving product adoption and executing commercial strategies within LTC facilities by building relationships with clinicians, care teams, and pharmacy partners across the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Drive product adoption and utilization across assigned LTC facilities
- Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff
- Engage with closed-door pharmacies, clinical pharmacists, case managers, and care coordinators
- Execute marketing strategies to support product launch and territory performance
- Assess marketplace dynamics and develop account strategies based on local insights
Requirements
- Expertise in long-term care market landscape and key stakeholder identification
- Ability to engage effectively in both virtual and in-person settings
- Disease state knowledge and product champion capability
- Account management experience with healthcare systems or LTC facilities
- Business acumen and understanding of local market trends
