Computer Aided Design Technician

CAD Technician (Entry-Level) – Utility Design The CAD Technician will support engineering, right-of-way, land survey, and permitting teams to develop high-quality utility construction plans. This is a great entry-level opportunity to build your AutoCAD skills and gain hands-on experience in utility design while working alongside industry experts on high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities Assist in creating utility construction drawings using AutoCAD Support development of permit drawings, including erosion and sediment control plans Revise and update plans based on feedback from lead designers Learn utility design and construction standards, including telecom and infrastructure projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables Required Qualifications Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Exposure to telecommunications, fiber, or utility construction/design Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., CAD, drafting, engineering, or construction) Compensation Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
