Location: 0.6 Roosevelt-McGrath Elementary / 0.4 Franklin Middle School

Reports To: Building Administrator/Special Education Supervisor

Compensation: Range starts at $55,532 based on W-WEA Collective Agreement

Wayne-Westland Community Schools is located in the metropolitan Detroit area, between Ann Arbor and Detroit. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Others duties may be assigned

• Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility
• Assess fine motor skills of students
• Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate
• Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports
• Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards
• Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans
• Regular and predictable attendance

Education And Experience:

• Registered Occupational Therapist State of Michigan
• Michigan Driver's License
• Pediatric experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good written and oral language ability
• Good interpersonal skills with children and adults

Terms Of Employment: Compensation, length of the workday, and the number of workdays is based on the W-WEA collective bargaining agreement.
