Job Summary This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Performs imaging procedures of the abdominal and pelvic cavity, thyroid area, musculature, and soft tissues with the use of ultrasound apparatus and obstetrics. Qualifications Minimum Education: Completed certification from Ultrasound School or Radiology Technology School Minimum Experience: 2 years Required Certification: BLS Required Licensure: ARDMS, RVT; ARRT, VS (Vascular sonographer); CCI (cardiovascular credentialing international), RVS, or RCVT (registered vascular specialist) Skills: Computer experience preferred; typing and medical terminology. Note - Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment. Organization Description Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery. These services help the medical center provide treatment options close to home for patients.
