Dishwasher Position
As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
- Ensure all dishes and kitchen items are properly sanitized and free of food residue.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and other kitchen workspaces.
- Assist with the disposal of trash and recycling as needed.
- Support kitchen staff during busy times by helping with basic food preparation or organization.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
