Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information Technology, Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate located in Ashburn, VA or Springfield, VA. Additional selections may be made beyond the total number of vacancies specified using this vacancy announcement. Duties This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Providing technical advice on strategic issues; utilizes various analytical methodology including but not limited to a wide range of statistical methods and tools, mathematical techniques, and process mapping. Providing technical direction in project management, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and the methodology required to develop and substantiate a business case for the selected project. Maintaining contact and liaison with appropriate persons to maintain awareness of policies, regulations, and technological changes. Providing leadership to the key officials in initiating program and procedure changes to correct unfavorable trends in any aspect of operation and corrects situations or deviations from established plans. Qualifications Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Provide analytical support through data and trend analysis to identify issues and develop process improvement strategies within key mission support programs. Develop and delivering comprehensive, data-driven briefings, presentations, and conference materials to senior leadership and key stakeholders and communicating complex program findings, performance metrics, strategic recommendations, and potential impacts to inform critical decision-making and secure necessary support. Oversee the roll-out of new policies and procedures across multiple offices, ensuring compliance with regulations and consistency in implementation. Lead collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders to align program objectives, resolve conflicts, and ensure successful outcomes.
