• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; average 8-10 call shifts per month inclusive of 1-2 weekends per month dependent on schedule

Job Summary

This Registered Nurse - Cath Lab travel contract position is open to first-time travelers. The RN will work in both the Cath Lab and IR Lab , supporting patients requiring cardiac catheterization (diagnostic or interventional) as well as IR lab patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate procedures in the Cath Lab and IR Lab
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Perform phlebotomy and place IVs (mandatory competency required for all RNs at this facility)
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias
• Perform 12-lead EKG
• Manage IV infusion pumps and implanted port care and maintenance
• Adhere to infection prevention and isolation precautions protocols
• Administer antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and emergency medications as required
• Document and chart using EPIC

• Must have experience in both the Cath Lab and the IR Lab

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Average 8-10 call shifts per month, inclusive of 1-2 weekends per month dependent on schedule
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No local candidates within 75-mile radius
• Please keep RTO requests close to 1 week
