Job Description
Pediatric Registered Nurse - Infusion Center

Schedule

This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Pediatric Infusion Center provides support for a variety of pediatric specialty services including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent prioritization and communication skills, along with a solid background in IV skills and experience with IVADs/ports. Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center is essential.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administering infusions and performing procedural care for pediatric patients.
• Monitoring patient responses to therapies and medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Managing IV access and administration of therapies as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NYS RN License.
• License Holder must have at least two (2) years of experience in pediatrics.
• Current BLS certification.
• PEARS certification is required.
• Certification from APHON is preferred.
