HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT'S VISION:

The Department of Revenue seeks an energetic and motivated individual to join our Distribution Center team. This position offers a great mixture of working with computer systems, answering telephone inquiries, and physical duties related to inventory management and shipment. Team members will enjoy a non-repetitive work environment with a variety of opportunities.

Responsibilities - What you'll do

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT'S VISION:

• Process and ship motor vehicle inventory items to the contract license offices and customers
• Process various system transactions related to inventory accountability and reconciliation
• Monitor the motor vehicle inventory e-mail inbox and respond to inquiries timely and appropriately
• Respond to contract license office inquiries by phone and e-mail utilizing the necessary files and systems
• Process cigarette decal orders by pulling, validating, and preparing items for shipment
• Prepare inventory reconciliation reports for management
• File and pull paper tax documents for retention

Qualifications - All you need for success

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
• Ability to lift boxes weighing more than 50 pounds
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time
