Automation Engineer SkillBridge

Belay Technologies is seeking active-duty service members to join our team through the DoD SkillBridge program as an Automation Engineer. This program will provide active service members with hands-on automation experience as well as business skills. It is designed to bridge the gap between military and civilian employment by equipping you with key engineering, automation, and system administration skills. ​​​​​​

Who You Are:

• Active-duty service member within 180 days of separation or retirement
• Experience in automation, systems administration, or software engineering, and eager to continue learning
• Technical bachelor's degree or in the process of obtaining your degree

You should have hands-on technical experience with Systems Administration or Software Development, plus three or more of the following:

• Linux and Windows Administration
• Virtual machines
• Automation of IT-related things
• Python programming or scripting
• PowerShell
• Bash Scripting
• Batch Scripting
• AutoHotkey
• Sikuli

Several factors influence final salary, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, education, specific skills and competencies, and certifications. Salary range, if hired after SkillBridge: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00.
