Job Summary MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in New Orleans, Louisiana. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE. Must have graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year's experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or be proactively in process for licensure. Current CPR certification. Other requirements to be determined by client facility. Duties & Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services including providing direct patient care, assessing medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. Also responsible for establishing and administering a treatment program with specific goals, setting realistic and achievable goals, documenting and recording patient condition, and educating patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
