Medical Assistant - Primary Care - East New York, NY
This position requires a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in East New York. As a contract role, you will work onsite from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week. The role involves specimen collection, quality control, and patient interactions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical protocols.
Pay Range: $17.64 - $20.00 Per HR
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Certification as a Medical Assistant
Knowledge of venipuncture and laboratory equipment
Experience with adults and geriatrics is preferred
Experience in Pediatrics, Infusion, Chemo, or Oncology is beneficial but not required
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Strong communication skills for interaction with patients and staff
