Job Summary:

Perform various housekeeping functions, cleaning, sanitation, and other housekeeping functions observing high-sanitation and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• • Perform cleaning procedures of patient rooms and common areas throughout the Hospital.
  • Maintain adequate linen supply for all departments.
  • Remove waste and soiled linens using proper disposal procedures.
  • Operate housekeeping mechanical equipment.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education -High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience -Prior cleaning experience in a health care or institutional setting preferred.
