This position will be located in Plymouth, Minnesota (Hybrid work options available) What type of work would you do: Plan and help facilitate engagements to meet budget and client expectations Evaluate clients’ internal controls and determine the extent of testing required in an audit Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements Provide exceptional service to clients by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare client deliverable reports Exhibit solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality management standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities to managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process Demonstrate technical skills, general industry knowledge and knowledge of the firm’s capabilities Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with client’s staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships Perform compilation, review, and audit engagements Review and prepare client work papers, reports, financial statement drafts and letters of recommendations You are the right fit if you have the following: BA/BS in Accounting or Related Field 2+ years of similar experience in a CPA firm CPA license or in process to obtain You have experience with accounting software systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters products) and are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of organization, focus, and exceptional attention to detail Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as type/enter data at a keyboard regularly Benefits Offered: We offer competitive compensation and profit sharing, excellent opportunities for professional development and flexible schedule options to allow for work/life balance.
