Job Summary
Operating Room Technician (Certified Operating Room Tech) in the specified location. This position involves providing surgical support in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on endovascular procedures such as angios and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) surgeries. The role requires working on a rotating day/evening shift schedule with on-call rotation over a 13-week assignment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts (8/10 hours) with on-call rotation, 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/09/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (NBSTSA certification), minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, experience with endovascular procedures (angios, EVAR), no IR technician at the table, current certification as NBSTSA, and ability to work on a schedule involving 8 and 10-hour shifts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-volume surgical centers, familiarity with advanced endovascular procedures, and on-call availability.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing surgical support during complex vascular procedures, operating independently without interventional radiology support at the table, and adhering to hospital protocols and standards for surgical safety and patient care.
