Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Experience working with students who have varying degrees of visual impairment
• Adaptable and motivated to excel in a travel assignment environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative instructional services per IEP/504 plans
• Develop customized materials and adapt curriculum for students with visual impairments
• Conduct functional vision/learning media assessments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers
• Provide training/support to staff and families on assistive technology and best practices
• Maintain student documentation and progress reports
