Manage a seven-figure quota, implementing strategies to achieve and exceed targets. Provide mentorship and support to Territory Sales Managers, fostering professional growth and success. Area Sales Director Key Responsibilities & Duties Achieve or exceed sales quotas within the assigned territory through effective strategies. Mentor and coach sales representatives to enhance performance and meet organizational goals. Recruit top talent to strengthen the sales team and drive success. Generate leads through cold calling and address customer inquiries about offerings. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to potential clients. Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize sales processes and outcomes. Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and pipeline statuses using CRM tools. Develop and sustain relationships with healthcare providers and industry associations. Utilize resources effectively to meet both short-term and long-term sales objectives. Area Sales Director Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 5 years sales experience; 7 years preferred. Proven track record in medical devices, capital equipment, or laser sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to mentor and develop sales teams to achieve high performance. Resilient attitude with the ability to overcome objections and secure sales.
