Job Title: Software Developer (Senior)Location: Huntsville, AL Position Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in coding, testing, debugging, and enhancing software applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business applications, user requirements, performance standards, quality assurance, interface design, and security best practices. This role will support both new software development and the improvement of existing systems, while ensuring secure and efficient integration with enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Develop, code, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications.Collaborate with technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.Respond to customer complaints, feedback, and requests for software improvements.Assist in the development of software user manuals and technical documentation.Support desktop design, testing, and implementation of security lockdowns.Integrate applications with standard software packages and automated patching/deployment technologies.Automate application and configuration deployments and updates to streamline operations.Provide documentation and training to technical staff and end users.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).8+ years of experience in software development, testing, and integration.Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or equivalent).Experience with C#, Angular, Vue.js, AWSStrong understanding of business applications, security requirements, and performance optimization.Experience with software packaging, automated deployment tools, and patch management technologies.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Active Top Secret security clearance (required).Preferred Skills:Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or government IT environments.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.Knowledge of enterprise system integration and desktop security hardening.Background in user training and technical documentation.CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
