About This Role The Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - Manhattan will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans. Highlights Pay: $117,977.99 - $120,500.00 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department/Unit: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Collect patient health history Record information in electronic health record Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine treatment plans Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster evidence-based practice Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Associate Degree may be approved with conditions) Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse License in New York Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association ACLS certification preferred Benefits Comprehensive benefits and wellness package Generous time-off program Access to financial security benefits Holistic employee wellness program focusing on multiple areas of well-being About NYU Langone Health NYU Langone Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
