Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:
The RN - Cardiovascular Surgery (CVOR) is responsible for providing specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures. This role ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and assists with surgical interventions in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during procedures, adapting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain sterile field.
• Administer medications and interventions according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiovascular surgery or related perioperative nursing experience.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and relevant clinical standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and handle emergent situations.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
