Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Atlanta, GA

Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Atlanta, GA Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urgent Care Physician Location: Georgia Schedule: Per diem coverage. Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts may be available, including 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide urgent care coverage in a clinic setting. Typical services include testing, X rays, suturing, 12 lead EKG interpretation, and physicals. Patient ages referenced as 2 and older. Typical volume referenced as up to 4 patients per hour. Charting system: Experity (Velocidoc). Providers may be asked to support multiple clinic locations in the region. Required Qualifications MD or DO. Board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with pediatric capability as required by the clinic. Recent urgent care experience within the past year as referenced. Active Georgia medical license. DEA as required. Ability to read and interpret X rays as required by the clinic. Clean background and NPDB self query may be required for onboarding. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify. Credentialing and Onboarding Onboarding timeline referenced as about 1 to 2 weeks plus an in person shadow shift. EMR training and clinic orientation are required prior to first shift. Travel and Lodging Travel and lodging support may be available based on scheduling and distance.
