Remote Data Engineer
Compensation: $59-61 / HR
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Requirements:
•Microsoft Fabric: Data Factory, Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, and semantic models.
•Azure: Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Key Vault, Functions, and messaging services.
•Advanced SQL/T-SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and APIs.
•Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, and production support.
•Data governance, quality, lineage, metadata management, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or data warehousing, including cloud delivery.
•Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and collaborating across technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills:
•Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) or equivalent Azure certification.
•Experience with insurance or financial services data, legacy ETL modernization.
