This is a Full-Time Permanent position responsible for operating a commercial truck and 44-foot trailer capable of transporting up to 10 golf cars and utility vehicles.In addition to delivery responsibilities, this position includes light mechanical work, fueling golf carts, and detailing vehicles prior to delivery, as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong team-oriented mindset, mechanical background, and a willingness to assist with additional tasks to ensure delivery schedules and customer commitments are met.C2 Vehicles will provide service-related training to the right candidate.Daily Responsibilities:Driving a delivery truck with a 44-foot trailerLoading and unloading truck and trailer- both at the branch prior to delivery and at customer locations.Ensure all golf carts and/or utility vehicles are strapped and secured on trailersMaintain vehicle logs, pre-delivery, and post-delivery inspections.Maintaining clear and legible delivery documents- both from deliveries and customer pick-ups.Identifying preventative maintenance on both the truck and trailer and communicating issues timely to eliminate vehicle down time.Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable DOT regulations.Engaging customers during deliveries.Performing basic mechanical repairs, Maintenance, and troubleshooting on golf carts and other utility vehicles.Assist C2 team members at times with cleaning, servicing, and preparing vehicles for delivery.Qualifications:Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinationClean driving record requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience operating a truck and TrailerNeat, professional appearance with a customer-focused attitudeProfessional demeanor with an emphasis on customer service before, during, and after deliveriesDemonstrated mechanical aptitude with the capability to support light maintenance activities as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle for extended periodsAbility to climb in and out of trucks and trailers throughout the dayAbility to load, unload, secure, and inspect golf carts and utility vehicles on car haulersAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, kneel, reach, and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to meet all DOT physical and medical requirementsBenefits:Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA plans to keep you and your family healthyPaid Time Off: Up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off in your first yearRetirement: 401(k) plan with company match to help you plan for the futureCompany Paid Benefits: Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability and AD&DCompensation:The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 - $30.00 Per hour.
