$16.00 - $29.00/hr* Full time Shift may start between 8:00 am – 11:00 am or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Role Summary This role focuses on greeting, helping and thanking our customers, and preventing loss at the store entrances. The role includes verifying purchases, assisting with returned items and keeping our entrances safe and secure. What you’ll do You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. That's why it's so important to smile, greet, and thank every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. There are times when you must juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers. These tasks include scanning items, explaining a price, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean. It takes a special person who is positive, can multi‑task and has a passion for customer service and helping others.
